Join Us in the Fight Against Human Trafficking
In the world today, more than 27 million children and adults are enslaved. In the United States alone, approximately 100,000 slaves exist with 17,500 new victims trafficked across our borders every year.
Partnering with local law enforcement and non-profit organizations, last September we hosted a Human Trafficking Awarnessness Symposium here at our campus to learn how we could combat human trafficking in our city.
The symposium featured Nola Theiss, the Executive Director of Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships, Inc. (HTAP), Phil Gazely, the Training Coordinator of World Advocates and Amanda Finger, Director of Polaris Project Colorado (PPC).
